Incoming: James Blunt
The singer-songwriter and king of Twitter throwdowns arrives in April
James Blunt – the singer-songwriter you can blame (or thank) for ubiquitous earworm ‘You’re Beautiful’, former British Army Officer and expert slayer of Twitter trolls – returns to Beijing this April with his latest album The Afterlove. Performing on April 6 at Beijing LeSports Center (formerly Wukesong Arena), Blunt will be closing out his two-week Asia tour in the capital.
Achieving worldwide fame with singles ‘You’re Beautiful’ and ‘Goodbye My Lover’ off debut album Back to Bedlam back in 2004, Blunt has since sold over 20 million albums, won two Brit Awards and been nominated for five Grammys – take that, haters.
Tickets aren’t on sale yet, but we’ll let you know as soon as they’re announced. Until then, treat yourself by reading some of James’ gloriously brutal and hilarious Twitter responses. To be Blunt, he may not be the tweeter we deserve, but he’s definitely the tweeter we need.
